Purpose Locked plate (LP) and retrograde intramedullary nail (RIN) are the most commonly used treatment options for periprosthetic femur fracture above total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Controversy still exists regarding which is better. Therefore we performed a meta-analysis to compare their clinical results.
