INTRAMEDULLARY NAIL AND DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF PROXIMAL FEMUR FRACTURE USING THE INTRAMEDULLARY NAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intramedullary nail having wide applications by overcoming faults of the known intramedullary nail and being changeable the constitution of headed screws without taking out the nail from the medullary foramen by a surgeon in an operation under a surgical intervention.;SOLUTION: This intramedullary nail for the treatment of the proximal femur fracture is provided with a long body 12 having a proximal side part 14 and a distal side part 16. The proximal side part is provided with a first slot 20 and a second slot 21 for respective headed screws 22, 34, 24 and 25 having lateral axes relative to the axis of the proximal side part 14 respectively. The first slot 20 is divided into two paths 30 and 31, and the two paths 30 and 31 have respective axes A and B having predetermined angle relationships to the axis C of the second slot 21 respectively.
