Chevron's Duri Dips on Gas Cut

Production from Chevron's flagship Duri field in Indonesia's Riau province has fallen by 32,000 b/d because of disruption to the gas supplies used for steamflooding at the field. The Jakarta Post quoted an official from upstream regulator BP Migas as saying Fri- day that output has been curtailed since Wednesday because of a leak in the gas pipeline that transports gas from Cono- coPhillips' Grissik field in Sumatra to Duri. The 536 km pipeline is operated by PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia (TGI), which is owned by local gas firm PGN and a foreign consortium comprising of Conoco, Talis- man Energy, Petronas and Singapore Petro- leum Corp.
