Pemex April Output Flattens

Mexico’s oil and natural gas production was virtually stagnant last month, after two straight months of decline. State oil firm Pemex says its crude output in April was 2.593 MMb/d, 2,000 b/d lower than in March. A 2.6% in- crease in production of extra-light crude was not enough to compensate for de- clines in production of heavy and light crudes, which make up most of Pemex’s product mix.
