Senate to Hold Climate Talks

With an assist from President Barack Obama, Senate leaders are planning three hearings this week on climate change legislation that seeks to cut carbon emissions 20% by 2020 and set up a national carbon trading market by 2012. The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee will hear testimony today from the administration's chief energy and environmental administrators, including Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson.
