Coquilles et Campaniforme en Galice et en Bretagne mecanismes de circulation et strategies identitaires

The aim of this study is to examine the processes through which BellBeakers circulated between Brittany and Galicia, by means of the analysisof decoration techniques and in particular the use of shell impressions.While most Bell Beaker contexts in Galicia are domestic, and this is themajor difference with Brittany, the funerary contexts display strong simi-larities at a structural level, enabling us to suggest a direct relationshipbetween the two regions. Once it has been established that the ceramicswere locally produced, this relationship can only be explained by the trans-mission from Brittany to Galicia of certain decoration techniques, in thiscase impressions with Donax and cockles.
