摘要

This research paper proposes a simplified and optimized methodology for modeling power electronic interface of wind energy system by incorporating decoupled analytical approach. Mathematical modeling of back to back Pulse Width Modulated IGBT inverter has been developed by using its state variables from its equivalent circuits for each mode. The proposed method with zero crossing algorithms has been validated using matlab scripts (m-file) and compared with offline simulink reference models of 1μs step size. The proposed method results in mathematical models of acceptable accuracy, convergence, less memory usage and large step size (100μs) which would further speed up the execution time.
