摘要

Synthesis of novel bis-(isoxazolyl-l,3-oxazine)naphthalenes have been accomplished by utilizing Betti base as synthon. The key synthon, Betti base has been synthesized by reaction of isoxazole amine, aromatic aldehyde and 2,3-dihydoxy naphthalene in ethanol. The bis-(isoxazolyl-l,3-oxazine)naphthalenes have been screened for their antimicrobial activity.
