Unfortunately, 2011 has started with disaster and tragedy. On behalf of the SAE-A Board of Directors, and our National Office team, I express deepest sympathy to all members, associates and partners affected by the tragedies in Queensland, Victoria, New Zealand and Japan. In addition to the tragic human consequences, such disasters unfortunately have serious impact on the economies of these regions and given globalisation, the consequences are not only felt by areas directly affected by events.
