Introducing: Bug Busters of the feminine kind

Bundaberg and Isis Women in Sugar Groups (WIS) have carried off their most ambitious educational event yet with capacity turnouts of both men and women at recent Bug Busters workshops in both areas. With funding from the Sugar Research and Development Corporation, WIS engaged a team of experts to teach integrated pest management (IPM), a sustainable method of insect control first seen by members on an educational bus trip last year to northern New South Wales.
