Galaxy's 'Salt of Life' project has lots of life

Galaxy Resources Ltd has confirmed its Sal de Vida project (which translates to salt of life) in north-west Argentina has a lot of life in it, 40 years in fact, following the completion of a robust DFS on the lithium project. Galaxy acquired a 70% stake in Sal de Vida following its merger with Lithium One Inc. in July 2012. At that time a PFS had already been completed on the project. In mid-April the DFS estimated a NPV of $US645 million and stated the project had the potential to generate annual revenues in the region of $US215 million pa at full production rates.
