LNG Impel,a subsidiary of the Canadian company Galveston LNG Inc.,has announced that it has doubled to 2 billion its estimate of the cost of the LNG storage facilities it is building in the TechnoPark economic zone in Dubai.The Managing Director of LNG Impel,Mr.Abdel-Khader Elrahal,told a gas conference in Abu Dhabi that,as a result of the rise in world steel prices,costs had doubled in the space of six months.
