In France, the law of March 4th, 2002 defined the terms of the shared medical decision having to govern the relation between a patient and a doctor. The right to be informed precedes the implementation by the care. It is the person who, thanks to information and recommendations of the doctor, makes, with the latter, the decisions concerning its health. Being the expression of its will, the choice allocated to the patient is to accept the proposals for a care which is made to him, that is to say to refuse them, this refusal which can relate on the methods of care, but also to the need of care.
