Bids received for Atlantic Canadian offshore parcels

Calgary—The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board said Wednesday that it has received bids, worth a total of C$758 million ($565 million) from six offshore operators and an investment company for eight parcels in two Atlantic Ocean basins. The Eastern Newfoundland Basin received bids worth a total of C$514 million for six parcels, while the Jeanne d’Arc Basin got bids for two parcels worth C$244 million.
