Trophic groups of coprobiontic insects in pastures of the Gornyi Altai

The analysis of coprobiontic insects in pastures of the Gorniy Altai showed that the core of the dung entomo-complex (52.7 percent) consisted of obligate and facultative coprophagous insects: some imago (14 species) and larvae (26 species) of Diptera, imago and larvae Scarabaeidae (65 species), imago of Hydrophylidae (14 species), some imago (4 species) and larvae (7 species) of Staphylinidae. Predators were represented by larvae (22 species) andimago (1 species) of Diptera, Hydrophylidae (14 species), imago and larvae of Histeridae (18 species), and imago (67 species) and larvae (51 species) of Staphylinidae. Parasitic forms were Hymenoptera larvae (17 species) and Staphylinidae (8 species).
