A feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of DDGS replacing by soybean oilmeal (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100) with or without supplementation of Commercial phytase (Ronezyme) (0, 150 mg/kg) on juvenile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus in two factorial arrangements. Each diet was replicated twice which means 10 treatments and 20 hapas (2x2x0.5 m3) at densities of 4 fish/m2 (8 fish/hapa), fed 5-3% of wet body three times daily for 70 days. The results showed no significant differences for survival rate. Final weight, WG, ADG and SGR were superior in T6, T7 and T8 (0,25, 50 DDGS with phytase supplementation 150 mg kg/diet). Feed intake and WG improved with phytase supplementation. The other parameters of feed utilization PER, PP V and energy utilization also showed significant differences between treatments where T6, T7 and T8 recorded higher values. The results suggested that DDGS can replace soybean meal while being supplemented with exogenous phytase can significantly improve growth performance and feed utilization parameters in juvenile Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).
