"Is this guy nuts?" you might be thinking. "Surely he's not advocating investment of the Foundation's hard-won monies in something as risky as wine futures?" No, good people, rest assured I'm not talking about 'futures' in the sense of commodities market investments, but rather 'futures' in the sense of people's individual futures - investment in the higher education of tomorrow's leaders in the North American wine industry. This is what the Educational Foundation does, and we're proud of it! And thus we segue into our annual revelation of this year's AWSEF scholarship recipients - truly the 'cream of the crop'!
