摘要

The mineral distribution of 7 native plants growing on Tottori coastal sand dune was studied from summer to early autumn. Results obtained were as follows; 1) Ischaemum anthephoroides Miq., Carex kobomugi Owhi, and Fimbritylh sericea R Br absorbed K and Fe preferentially and belonged to Type I plants growing in the whole area of the coastal sand dune These plants have adapted their ability for mineral uptake to the prevalent soil chemical properties 2) Artemisia capillaries Thunb and Linaria japonicaMiq absorbed Ca and Mg preferentially and belonged to Type II plants growing only in a limited area of the coastal sand dune 3) Wedelia prostrata Hemsl absorbed Na, Ca, and Mg preferentially and belonged to Type II plants, 4) Calystegia soldanella L absorbed Na preferentially and belonged to Type II plants. Accoedingly, the 7 plants used in this study were classified into 2 types based on their mineral absorption characteristics and preferences for absorbed elements.
