Anadarko appraises Cote d'lvoire project after oily wildcat

Anadarko has found uncommercial oil with the first of three deepwater wells off Cote d'lvoire and is now moving ahead with an appraisal well to try and firm up a new project. The Bolette Dolphin is now drilling on the existing Paon discovery after completing the Morue well in Block CI-516. This is in the San Pedro Basin near CI-514 where Total made the Saphir find earlier this year (see AOG 24 April).
