Heat pump benchmark refreshed ahead of digital reform plans

An updated benchmark checklist for commissioning heat pumps has been published by the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC) as part of a series of planned reforms for HVAC installations. The amended checklist, which has been "refreshed" to better reflect current Building Regulations, guides installers to confirm a range of manufacturer requirements when commissioning a system. Work by manufacturers and trade bodies to ensure the switch to a fully digital benchmark service that can automate key processes and notifications around the servicing and maintenance of domestic heat systems is also continuing at the same time.
