Oji fires up second TM in Jiangsu, China; some rolls exported to Japan

In China, Oji Holdings has begun trial production on a new 60,000 tonne/yr tissue PM at its pulp and paper complex in Nantong city, Jiangsu province. The unit churned out its first sheet of tissue last week. Provided by Andritz, the machine has a trim width of 5.6 m and a design speed of 2,000 m/min. It is the second TM to have come online at the site. The first, which is identical, was fired up in late June.
