As start to write this article, outside Old Man Winter is throwingeverything at us—freezing rain, sleet, and snow, a wintry mix. Fortunately, we have just about finished up pecan harvest because it will probably be too wet to do anything in the orchard for a while. While 2019 wasn't a great year for everyone, it was decent enough to generate plenty of pecan samples for identification. Indicating an above-average year, over 100 samples were submitted for cultivar identification.
