In 2000, Linder executes a lease with SWEPI's predecessor-in-interest that has a ten-year primary term with an option to extend for an additional ten-year period upon the payment of $3.00/acre prior to the expiration of the primary term. During the primary term, a portion of the lease was pooled with other acreage. There is no dispute between the parties regarding the continuation of the lease as to the 137,81 acres of the Linder lease that was included in the pooled unit.
