With the increased use of advanced electronic devices across industries, manufacturers worldwide are constantly developing new production methods that will allow efficient large scale manufacturing of silicon wafers that can be used for electronic chip fabrication. Currently, silicon wafers are most commonly used for the manufacture of electronic and semiconductor devices. However, silicon carbide wafers are capable of reducing power losses during conversion by a factor of two, and have excellent high voltage and heat-resistant properties. The energy saving advantages achieved with silicon carbide wafers have created a strong demand for them. This has in turn resulted in the development of an efficient and cost-effective production method.
