Chinese acidspar spot prices rose to a four-year high in early May as the ongoing nationwide environmental inspections caused a severe supply shortage in the country amid better coolant demand ahead of summer. Restricted use of dynamite for fluorspar mining has further contributed to the tight supply, several suppliers said.
