Europe end-month PE pricing still under discussion for April

LONDON (ICIS)--Retroactive end-month April polyethylene (PE) pricing discussions are still going on at some accounts, in spite of the late date. A few euros are dividing some buyers and sellers, and prices are mostly decreasing, in spite of the small increase in the April ethylene contract. Some buyers of low density polyethylene (LDPE) said they had offers of minus ?25-30/tonne, with linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) C4 (butene based) prices were down by more, with spot prices reaching their lowest point in almost six years.
