JERA Announces Participation in Formosa 3 Offshore Wind Power Project

Japan’s JERA announced on 9th that it has decided to join the Formosa 3 wind power project in Changhua, Taiwan. It agreed to purchase a total of 43.75 stakes in the project from Macquarie group and EnBW. As the largest stake holder of the 2,000-MW project, the Japanese company aims to start commercial operation in the late 2020s together with the two companies.
