Harum’s Coal Sales Decreased in 2019

Indonesian PT Harum Energy Tbk sold 4.1 million tons of coal in 2019. It was down by 500,000 tons or 10.9% from a year earlier. Im 2019, 47 % of coal sales are exported to China. Export destinations except for China are India (15% of the sales volume), South Korea (10%), Bangladesh (9%), Thailand (8%), Taiwan (4%), Japan (4%), Philippines (2%), and Vietnam (1%). Harum operates a coal business in East Kalimantan province through its subsidiaries like Mahakam Sumber Jaya and PT Santan Batubara.
