Indonesia’s Jawa-2 GTCC Project Commences Operations

The Jawa-2 project, a natural gas-fired Gas Turbine Combined Cycle power plant construction project in Indonesia led by state-run PLN, started operations, announced Japan’s engineering firm Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) on 10th.MHPS began commercial operation of Units 1 and 2 in simple cycle mode last year and has this time completed the exhaust heat recovery boilers and steam turbine and finished the installation and commissioning of these facilities.
