Ukrainian Firm Gears Up For New Eurobond

Naftogaz Ukrainy is eyeing a $1 billion eurobond issue in the second quarter of 2018 as soon as clarity emerges from the ongoing multibillion dollar arbitra- tion dispute with Russia’s Gazprom. A possible bond would be the first for the state-owned company since its transformation to a transparent, market- oriented and profitable corporation, and could become a gauge of investor confi- dence in Ukrainian reforms.
