Taqa Books Profit in Q3

Abu Dhabi National Energy Co. (Taqa) posted a profit of 431 million dirhams ($117 million) in the first nine months of 2018, although its debt pile still stood at 66.5 billion dirhams ($18 billion). Taqa's average daily production for the nine-month period declined slightly to 122,000 b/d, while revenue from its oil and gas business reached 4.8 billion dirhams, compared to 4.1 billion dirhams during the same period a year earlier.
