Germany’s VNG Mulls Options for Norwegian E&P Arm

German gas supplier VNG Group is exploring “strategic options” for its Norwegian upstream arm, the company has revealed, in a move that could pave the way for a potential sale or merger of its E&P assets. Parent VNG, which is majority owned by German utility EnBW with a 74.2% stake, said in a statement it had hired Citigroup as a financial advisor to assist in the evaluation of different options for VNG Norge.
