摘要

Ni_3Al is a long-range ordered intermetallic, known for its ability to maintain its L12 structure up to the melting point and for its anomalous temperature dependence of the flow stress. Previous reports revealed that the severe plastic deformation of this alloy leads to disordering and grain refinement, the latter significantly improving the strength, plasticity and hardness of the material. The purpose of this study is to determine a basic sequence of the microstructural evolution with induced strain, as well as the effect of this evolution on the mechanical properties of this intermetallic.
