Prognostic Assay in Small, Node-Negative Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

To the Editor: Dr Kratz and colleagues suggested that the use of a new molecular assay could affect prognosis and therapeutic strategy in patients with small, node-negative non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This assay has been previously validated by the same authors in an international population with nonsquamous NSCLC. Some points about the results need to be considered.
