Failure to recognise collaboration and effective working relationships

We were concerned by the Broad spectrum article published in The Pharmaceutical Journal on 28 February 2009 (PJ, 28 February 2009, p211). Not only does it not represent the initiatives of the Hertfordshire Stop Smoking Service, it also fails to recognise the significant collaboration and effective working relationships that exist between most community pharmacists and practice based commissioning (PBC) groups and primary care trust staff in Hertfordshire.
