Independent inquiry into quality of GP care launched

An independent inquiry into the quality of GP care, which will include an analysis of prescribing decisions and patterns, was launched by the King's Fund earlier this week.The inquiry's expert panel intends to use the results of its scrutiny to produce a set of measures that can then be used to compare the quality of patient care between different GP practices.
