Production technology: Africa and Greece provide optimism for 2001

Africa and Greece. are expanding gin markets for Continental Eagle. Paraguay is poised for a comeback, thanks in part to technical production knowledge and boll weevil attraction and control tubes. A Ministry of Agriculture project sustains cotton production in Iran. Most would say the years 1999 and 2000 did not smile on the cotton industry, in general, and I cannot disagree. We here at Continental Eagle Corporation, and just about everyone else, have seen better times, but it has not all been downhill. It should be noted that several of our customers who seemed almost certain to go forward on projects opted to take a "wait and see" attitude for this year, both domestically and on the international scene.
