Repsol more than doubles Q1 oil, gas production

Barcelona-Spanish oil and gas company Repsol said it has more than doubled its upstream production year on year to a total of 715,000 b/d of oil equivalent in the first quarter of 2016. The company said in a regulatory filing that it increased output in all four of its producing regions. All figures are provisional estimates. Output in Europe, Africa and Brazil increased 169% year on year to 115,000 boe/d, while production in North America jumped 416% year on year to 187,000 boe/d and in Asia and Russia soared 492% year on year to 108,000 boe/d.
