New York—Oil futures strengthened Thursday on the effects of a sliding US dollar, while the failure of Greece and its creditors to reach a bailout deal kept a lid on prices. ICE August Brent settled 39 cents higher at $64.26/b. NYMEX July crude settled 53 cents higher at $60.45/b. NYMEX July ULSD settled up 54 points at $1.9152/gal. NYMEX July RBOB settled 96 points higher at $2.1101/gal.
