New Delhi—India’s Reliance Industries Ltd. brought onstream a new gas well, MA-8, in its KG-D6 block off India’s east coast—the first well in four years. This could be considered the first sign of reversal in the block’s continuous fall in production after it hit peak production of 69 million cubic meters/day in March 2010.
