Mumbai—A special ministerial committee set up by the Indian government is scheduled to meet on May 7 to discuss domestic gas pricing and allocation amid opposition from the power and fertilizer ministries to any increase in gas prices. The committee, called the Empowered Group of Ministers (EGOM), will discuss gas pricing reforms proposed earlier this year by the Rangarajan Committee, a source at the oil ministry said April 29.
