Weak US dollar again underpins NYMEX crude gain

New York-New York Mercantile Exchange June crude oil futures traded steadily higher April 29, settling up $1.07 at $113.93/b, as the complex garnered support from a weak US dollar and firm equities. NYMEX June crude popped to a session high of $114.18/b, a fresh 31-month high fo the front-month contract. On their day of expiry, May heating oil futures settled 2.42 cents higher at $3.2558/gal and May RBOB rose 3.5 cents to settle at $3.4648/gal. On ICE, June Brent settled 87 cents higher at $125.89/b.
