Kinder Morgan creates US ethanol ?(r)network

New York-Kinder Morgan Energy Partners announced January 19 creation of "a nationwide distribution network of ethanol handling facilities connected by rail, marine, truck and pipeline." Specifically, Kinder Morgan bought three ethanol handling terminals from US Development Group for $195 million and the two have formed a joint venture to coordinate access to those terminals, as well as other Kinder Morgan ethanol assets and projects under development.
