Russian 2008 fuel oil exports outside CIS increase 10%

Moscow-Russia’s fuel oil exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States totaled 59.79 million mt in 2008, up 10% compared with 2007, data released by the Federal Customs Service showed February 6. Fuel oil is the main oil product exported to non-CIS countries as European refineries use it as feedstock.
