Amman, Jordan—A major obstacle to enacting the contentious Iraqi oil law appears to have been overcome after the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the federal government in Baghdad reached a revenue-sharing agreement, giving the Kurds a 17% share of earnings from the sale of oil and oil-related income.
