Amman, Jordan-The semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government has criticized the most recent Iraqi oil and gas law draft, approved at the end of August by the Iraqi cabinet, and urged Iraq's Parliament in Baghdad to reject it. When Iraq's cabinet approved the new draft of the law, it expressly insisted that version would supersede all previous drafts, including one proposed by the parliamentary oil and energy committee that had previously been put forward to Parliament.
