Eni raises cost estimate for Kashagan to 19 billion

London—Italy’s Eni raised February 23 the estimated cost of bringing Kazakhstan’s giant Kashagan oil field on stream by 4 billion, to 19 billion, and said the field would start producing two years later than first expected.
