Vancouver-Nova Scotia's odds of establishing a new offshore gas producing basin are sinking fast,with another dry hole reported and six more exploration licenses expected to lapse Dec 31. EnCana and its junior partner Marauder Resources East Coast have not given up on turning the Deep Panuke discovery into a commercial operation,pinning their hopes on drilling a sidetrack to the unsuccessful Dominion J-14 wildcat well.
