Tokyo-Japanese companies Idemitsu Kosan and Mitsui Chemicals are to take a 39.8% stake in Vietnam's proposed Nghi Son refinery and petrochemical project,the companies said March 27.Idemitsu and Mitsui plan to set up a joint venture with Kuwait Petroleum International and PetroVietnam for the 200,000 b/d project,which is expected to cost a total of 5.8 billion and start up by the end of 2013.
