Japan’s onshore oil product stocks fell for the fifth consecutive week, slipping by another 1% to 71.8 million bbl in the week ending Feb. 11, according to data released by the Petroleum Association of Japan trade group. Stock levels dropped by 744,000 bbl from the previous week. In total, inventories have lost 10.32 million bbl since Jan. 7. Refining runs fell to 3.66 million b/d, or the equivalent of 85.4% of capacity. This represents a drop of 3.79 million b/d from the previous week’s runs.
